Especially now that Chris and Jill are nearing retirement age by real world reckoning, it's about time CapCom confirms whether they were ever an item or not. Jill has Carlos Oliveira if she wants him, but as far as we know, Chris has no one to fall back to in crises. Claire is busy with a life and bioweapon stopping of her own most of the time too.
